Renovation of a 150m2 Paris apartment in the 6th arrondissement
In the heart of Paris's 6th arrondissement, a stone's throw from Saint-Sulpice church, lies a 150 m2 apartment that has benefited from a metamorphosis signed byinterior design agency My Parisian Interior.
This vast, typically Parisian space, with its period parquet flooring and moldings, has undergone a complete renovation and redesigned interior to reflect a certain contemporary elegance while preserving its authentic charm.
The majestic entrance, typical of Haussmann apartments, with its original moldings, has been enhanced by petrol-blue walls contrasting with the majestic brown of the parquet floor and refined lighting.
It opens onto a luminous double living room, where the choice of wall colors logically turned to white to bring a feeling of space and to highlight the bright colors of the furniture and the vintage collection of advertising posters, partly found at the Saint Ouen flea market. A vintage Knoll sofa and elegant lighting fixtures reflect a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
The powder room has been re-imagined in the same tones as the entrance, an elegant detail enhanced by a band of authentic zelliga as high-end wall covering and designer light fittings.
Each of the three bedrooms has received a special treatment. In the master suite, a soothing palette of pastel hues, combined with refined textiles and elegant furnishings, creates an atmosphere of serenity.
The guest bedroom, meanwhile, exudes an inviting warmth with soft hues, while the children's room is a cheerful mix of playful colors and functional furniture.
For each room, the My Parisian Interior agency meticulously selected the furniture, paintings, lighting and curtains, ensuring aesthetic coherence while meeting the specific needs of the owners.
